Designed a portable, filterable OSINT research database with 250+ verified tools and nearly 2,000 additional candidates queued for review. The system uses live-URL verification, canonical deduplication, structured tagging, manageable review batches, and a hard line between vetted and pending resources.

PUBLIC SAFETY + MIXED-SOURCE RESEARCH
U.S. Highway 395: Evidence Before Conclusions
Combined fatality and crash information, roadway conditions, Washington State Patrol material, WSDOT data, NHTSA context, and local reporting into a documented corridor study. Organized incidents chronologically, identified repeated design patterns, developed engineering and safety recommendations, and mapped recipients by what they could actually do with the work.

ARCHIVES + PROVENANCE
One Postcard. Five Girls. A Lot of Questions.
A 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition postcard began with a signature, two names, a place, handwriting, a postmark, and the phrase “our 5 girls.” I transcribed the artifact, searched name and place variants, followed relationships through genealogical and historical records, and preserved what remained unresolved instead of forcing a tidy ending.

A Multi-Year Record Reconstructed Into a Checkable Case
Researched an unfamiliar federal student-loan relief process, reconstructed years of school, lending, employment, and representation records, separated exact dates from approximate recollection, and matched supporting material to specific claim categories in a structured 15-page application.

Researching Adaptability, Then Having to Practice It
Writing and publishing Future-Proof Yourself required research into adaptability, AI, workplace change, learning, and resilience — then an entirely different research problem: KDP requirements, print and digital formatting, metadata, cover specifications, QA, troubleshooting, and resubmission until the project shipped.

FAST INVESTIGATION + VERIFICATION
When Seven Orders Did Not Behave Like Seven Customers
Seven near-simultaneous purchases of the same low-cost item did not look like normal customer behavior. I treated the pattern as a hypothesis, researched carding attacks in real time, evaluated protective tooling, implemented safeguards, canceled and refunded affected orders, and verified that the activity stopped.
